scientific name:Helarctos malayanus

length:4 to 5 ft (1.2 to 1.5 m) long

weight:60 to 150 lbs (27 to 70 kg)

life span:Up to 25 years

natural habitat: in tropic rain forest

diet: eating birds, small mammals, termites,the young tips of palm trees and the nests of wild bees.

litter:1 or 2 cubs

predators: humans and large cats

Interesting facts:
.There endangered status is venerable
.They have bad eyesight but a great sense of smell
.they also have a long tongue measuring 8 - 10 inches long.
.they have water repellent fur except on there yellow crescent on there chest
,most aggressive bear will attack with out being provoked
